Out to the Washington, DC area this week for a business conference and one of the perks was tickets to the Washington Nationals game versus the San Francisco Giants. Here's a few snaps from the evening.

Giants pitcher Brad Hennessey gets ready to face Cristian Guzman of the Nationals with Vinny Castilla on second. Castilla later scored when Guzman beat out an infield single.
A fan watches his team struggle during the game.
Wide angle shot of RFK Stadium from the "nose bleed" seats. I'm not complaining by all means. After all, the tickets were comped.
Here's another guy with that same look. I saw that a lot at Wrigley Field growing up...
The pitching coach heads out to talk to Brad Hennessey after giving up a run in the second inning.
The Nationals starter John Patterson actually didn't do too bad. Made a couple mistakes - a home run to Barry Bonds in the first, a bit of stuggling here in the fifth, then giving up a double and a homer to the Giants pitcher Brad Hennessey. This is where it all started.
Barry Bonds on deck with one out.
It was great to see Patterson challenging the big guy. Even after Barry took him for a ride in the first. Patterson struck him out two innings earlier. Here's strike two of this at bat.
Strike three! Caught him looking. Actually made Bonds look pretty bad on this pitch. Unfortunately, I timed just a bit too soon. I think it would have been great to have gotten the ump in the act of calling the strike...
I should probably point out how I was suddenly closer to the action. Well, my friend and I decided to move up after the fourth. It wasn't a packed house, so we figured we might just get away with it. Here's the nice gentleman who didn't mind us sitting down next to him and his family. Gave us some tips on where to catch some music downtown as well.
