Jack-In-The-Pulpit
Jack-in-the-pulpit or Indian Turnip (Arisaema triphyllum) is a disctinctive, alien looking flower found in moist woodlands. When eaten raw, it has a peppery taste that can be eliminated by cooking, and Native Americans gathered the fleshy taproots as a vegetable.
