It's interesting, the many ways we remember those who have left us. I've come across several of these havens in my travels and I thought it might be interesting to start documenting the heartfelt sentiments of families for their loved ones.

I came across this scene on the Betsy Valley Trail in Northwestern Michigan. Out in the middle of nowhere, it stands marking the site where a man left this earth while doing the things he most enjoyed.
